Happy National Son’s Day (maybe a day early, but saw some posts) to this guy! Ian just finished his orientation / first shift at Michael’s! A fitting job given his art talent. Red sky at night usually means sailors delight the next day… then there’s the exception to the rule. #hurricanelee heading north off the coast toward Maine/Nova Scotia/New Brunswick. Ian’s first day of Community College! The perfect reminder of which way the pointy end of the nail should go 😆😆😆. Seriously though thanks @tattootimo83 , it came out great! I’ll post another pic when it’s all healed up. @xoticcreationstattoos Something some folks may not know about me is that I’ve always had an interest in weather, and I’ve been geeking out moreso of late. Chase didn’t care for being disturbed from the couch to shelter with us during this morning’s tornado warning. He did take a mild interest in my lathe though… Happy to have been able to offer my thoughts on the Wilton vise for a recent Family Handyman article. This is the vise that I currently use as a face vise in my workbench (pictured - typically without the pivot jaw, but it's tucked away in case I find a use case for it). Thanks to article author & talented woodworker Cathy Harms (@charmswoodworks) for reaching out! Link in bio. S’mores night. Chase 3, Vet 1. But this round 4 victory by the vet was not easily earned. Even under the influence of 200mg (or most of 200 anyway) of Gabapentin, Chase still mustered the strength to an uncoordinated fight against the vet. But at least his shot got administered and basic exam done. We’ll add Trazadone (50mg) to 100mg of Gabapentin next time.
