After doing a couple of “alpha” test videos with the Narex chisel videos I did, I thought it would be cool to start adding video content more consistently to The Wood Lab blog. Here is the introduction to this video series, and then cap it off with a tour of my shop! Let me know what you think!
Very cool. Looks like you’ve done a really nice job of using your space. I was really surprised to see an 8″ jointer and a 15″ planer in the back. Jea-lous!
Thanks Marilyn!
Thanks for sharing Jim!
We have similar shop challenges! Best of luck as you move forward.
Thanks!
That’s a really nice space, very well layed out with good clearance surrounding each machine.
Horizontal surfaces are a nightmare in my workshop as well! They’re never clear or clean!
Thanks Olly!
Jim,
I like the way you’ve managed to work around the non-uniform shape of the space. Well done.
Is the foundation stone that’s been painted?
Thanks Dyami! Yes, the foundation stone in the second half of the basement is painted green. It was that way when we moved into the house.
Nice tour! You have a nice bunch of machinery – especially love the jointer and planer!
Thanks John!
